Archie Bracewell went off to the MK Bowl yesterday for the Ian Stannard Kids Camp. This is his report.
Archie had a fantastic day, learned a lot, had some fun races and came away feeling very inspired.
He cycled with Ian for a few laps of the course and asked him a few questions.
– What is his mindset before he races, Ian answered ‘ride like the wind and have fun’
– what does he eat before a race ‘porridge’.
Archie also asked him how he felt about Bradley Wiggins getting the hour record Ian said ‘I wish Alex Dowsett had kept it!!!!’ very telling we thought.
He also had a cheeky ride of the Stannard bicycle all under the watchful eye of the man himself.
Archie says all in all the day was ‘EPIC!’
