A nearly full field of 27 riders on another sweltering evening was a fitting finale to this year’s shortened Club 10 series yesterday. Cole Green was again a happy scene with support from guests from 5 clubs and some first timers leaving it all on the road for 3 laps. A number of PBs were achieved and the course record was broken for the third time this season – Oscar NJ’s 19:12 putting down a good marker for the World Junior TT Championships in September (fingers crossed that they go ahead!).
Our thanks to TT organisers, marshals, timers, Alex, Dave, Julian, Andrew, Mel, Rona, Colin and Francis plus other helpers who made this series happen and brought some cycling sport normality back for a weeks.
