2016 Dates for the Diary

2^nd Jan  – Central Cyclo Cross Event

We will need help on the day for course builders, marshals, catering, callers, & course take down & putting things away .Let us know if you can help

30^th Jan – Club Hog Roast incorporating the Annual Prize Presentations

Tickets £10 per person – currently on sale. All members & friends welcome. A Bar will be available – to be held at the new Codicote Hall

23^rd Feb – Club AGM

Your chance to have your say in the running of the club & get involved.

We would also welcome members to come forward and volunteer to be on the new committee for 2016! We meet approx. 8 times a year – so it isn’t a huge commitment. You can help shape the future of your club…

25^th March – Welwyn Hilly

The annual Good Friday Time Trial where we get in excess of 120 entries.

This year we need someone to step forward to coordinate the marshal duties. We will also need around 12 course marshals, someone to take charge of the catering and organise plenty of cakes!

7^th May – Youth Track Omnium

We host this round of the Regional Omnium Series. As usual we will need a large number of volunteers to ensure this event runs smoothly & to time.

12^th June – Welwyn Critérium du Dauphinoise Road Race

The Welwyn Road Race, on a new course this year, will be run on the Kingston circuit near Orwell. We will need help with marshals, drivers, sign on, catering etc. etc..  An early start but all done & dusted by about 12.30/1pm

19^th June – GHS DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP, London North.

TT for Youth & Junior riders. We will need volunteers to marshal & sign on
