Winter circuit racing series action has continued over the past fortnight with good representation by the Welwyn youth riders at the concluding events of the Hillingdon Youth Winter Series and a short Lee Valley Youth Series, where the U16 girls were particularly dominant – Ellen Bennett winning the sprint into a block headwind at Hog Hill.
On Saturday Archie Peet picked up a useful 2nd place, racing with the seniors at the East London Velo Winter Series 2/3/4.
