Gosling Velodrome experienced a smash and grab break-in on Thursday evening, resulting in the theft of three of our distinctive new Dolan Welwyn Racing track bikes, and a petrol jet washer.
The incident was captured on CCTV, providing police with valuable footage of the criminals. Two bikes have already been recovered from Stanborough Park and we are confident that the police are closing in on those responsible. The incident caused a fair bit of damage which has been swiftly repaired and re-secured by the Welwyn Volunteers.
We urge everyone to stay vigilant and keep an eye out for the remaining bike and jet washer. If you come across any information or notice anything suspicious that could lead to their recovery, please contact the local police immediately.
The idiots that did this might now be reflecting on their life choices – these bikes are traceable and can only be used at a velodrome – you fools!
