Who all helped out at our Cyclo Cross event on Saturday 10th October, ensuring Welwyn Wheelers put on another fantastic day of racing.
Some of our helpers not only helped to rig the course at 6am, they then marshalled, rushed home for a spot of babysitting, came back , raced & then galvanised family & friends to help de rig as well!
Thank you to those youth riders who gathered up the tape at the end of the racing.
A HUGE thank you to those who provided an array of delicious cakes all of which went down well.
Our next cyclo cross event is for the Central League on January 2nd and we will need even more helpers for this– as the de-rig & unloading if not done quickly will be taking place in the dark. Please consider volunteering to help with this event – as they say Many Hands Make Light Work.
