Entry for the 54th European Junior Cycling Tour Assen starts today at 10am CET. Read everything about the new entry process in our PDF.
You won’t receive a confirmation of entry today. You will receive a confirmation that you requested a place in the race. In the upcoming weeks – and in the busy categories as soon as possible – the riders who have been allotted a start place will receive a separate email with the confirmation of participation and the payment details.
You will receive an email of confirmation before the 1st of March. Non-placed riders will not be informed individually.
Choose the right category! If you select a wrong category, fill in a new form. However, if the category is full by that time, the rider won’t be able to take part.
Check the right spelling of the email address. We confirm the participation via that email address.

We are planning our annual Xmas Fancy Dress Offroad ride for Sat 9 Dec. We usually get 40+ riders for this and split into 2 or more groups.
Also, we would like to make this our 70th Anniversary ride, and we will celebrate the association with Hatfield Cycles by making that the destination for coffee.
There will also be an on-road ride for those without CX/MTB bikes, which will get to Hatfield Cycles at about 12noon (weather dependent).
Overall the plan is:
- All the groups start from Gosling at 9:15am
- Off-road groups aim for Hatfield Cycles in the middle of their ride….say 10:15-10:30ish…..groups unlikely to arrive at the same time.
- On-road group aims to finish their ride at Hatfield Cycles roughly 11:30-12
See Social Media for further details in the weeks leading up to the event.

Muddy Monsters events are designed for novices aged Under 16. Entrants should not be competing regularly in regional Cyclo-Cross or Mountain Bike series events. The events are off-road and suitable for mountain bikes or cyclo-cross bikes. Riders will need a helmet and a bike with two working brakes. Each round can be entered on the day for only £4. There may be a few spot prizes on the day but most of the awards are given for the overall series. The best 5 results from the 8 rounds to count for the overall series.
Details for the Muddy Monsters Cambs series will be announced soon.
